ABSTRACT
The research purpose is to know whether teachers recognize other forms of rewards apart from money. Guided by Literature only on understanding the extent to which teachers recognize other forms of rewards aside from money. Data was collected from Fifteen (15) teachers of Queens International using self-administered questionnaires, based on descriptive analyses it was found that teachers in the school hold the perception that paying everyone the same amount promotes mediocrity.It is also found that teachers in the school hold the perception that monetary rewards create negative completion and morale problems at work. Based on the analysis and findings, it is concluded that teachers of the school do not recognize others forms of rewards as much as they recognize money, this is evident in their opinions: being motivated, retained in school, encouraged by monetary rewards. It is recommended that difference in salary should be based on certain outlined elements and should be communicated to staff.
