        The rationale of the work is viewed from the angle where Total reward and employee engagement has been a weakness to many organizations. Fixed minimum wages, increase in the work loads, downsizing have call for effective use of the employee in attaining the organizational goal, hence employee engagement. To attain the organizational goals the management requires the effort of the talent and the expert in the organization which is impossible without effective total reward practices put in place. Job satisfaction has become alarming in the production industry. Maintaining job satisfaction under the increase in the workload, downsizing and fixed minimum wage require result producing reward system. (Caroline 2014, Dow 2010, Caroline2012).
