ABSTRACT
Like the developing and developed countries in the world, Bayelsa State has also embraced and is involved in the processing of various aspects of e-government, particularly in its ministries, agencies and departments.The study is based on jugdemental methodology in using to solve the thesis problem,whose objectives are to know the main obstacles in implementing e-government in Bayelsa State, to know which obstacle have the most effect in implementing e-government in Bayelsa State, and research question of the following main obstacle in implementing e-governance in Bayelsa State, solutions guidelines where recommended. It was discovered at the end of the thesis that four factors were seen as the obstacle in implementing e-government in Bayelsa State which were Lack of IT infrastructure, Lack of IT skill, Lack of Legal Obstacle, Lack of Security Obstacle.A model of estimate was obtain as .Y=4.21X1+5.2X2+3.3X3+3.9X4+16.8
