ABSTRACT:
Information technology goes beyond keeping data safely, reducing data storage and
eliminating data redundancy. It involves systems that make informed decision, systems
that need less human inputs to produce results. But above all, it involves sharing this
information with fellow colleagues at the district.
In the political, economical and social perspectives, such as those in Mityana district,
where many people, resources, schools, health facilities or other business transactions
may be needed for registration and being able to confirm the actual number of people
who are legitimate for either voting or determining how resources can be allocated to
different areas within the district. Therefore an information management system is all that
is needed for the above events to ultimately enjoy the benefits of information technology.
The designed management system for census management in Mityana district enables the
records and planning department in updating record with very little very human input,
produce real time report depending on the requirements of the user and even allow
multiple department to access this information without compromising the confidentiality,
integrity or authenticity of the data.
The system ~~as designed with the most secure tools like wamp server, php, mysql and windows.
