Abstract
The uninterrupted power is only dedicated for the purposed of illumination. Light is so important to man, so there is need to build an emergency lightening system to help reduce the problem encounter due o frequent interrupted power failure. This is reason for this project report which is CONSTRUCTION OF AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM. These project forms a stand-by source of light energy to man, it operates with the principles that when there is power failure the system will automatically switch on a lamp being power by A.D.C source (battery) when there is poor power supply from the main lamp goes off and the battery begins to charge using a rectifier circuit. Furthermore, this also emphasis on the battery  level sensor, when incorporated and the battery level when drops out that will affect the entire systems and this led to high capacity battery to be introduce to the system.
