Database Management System For Nursing Schools Case Study: Kyamuhunga Nursing School

59 PAGES (10241 WORDS) Computer Science Report

ABSTRACT

This project report is about a database management information system for Kyamuhunga Nursing School used as a case study.

The school was partially running its activities manually and this had numerous short comes most important being lack of security in storing files, loss of virtual information

and tiresome for data entrants.

The project report was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The Researchers employed questionnaire, observation and reviews of documents as data collection methods.

The challenge was to automate complaints to overcome the above short comes, Microsoft access is used for back-end application and Microsoft visual basic for front-end application are used to develop the system that could solve the problem.

In the developing the system, system implementation are considered. A database system can be considered to achieve most of the objectives, and the general project goal of this project is to design and establish a computer-based management information system for easy input, processing, storage, monitoring, and access to information within the store
