There has been a consistent poor achievement in technical education in junior secondary school as shown by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) annual reports of 2010-2015. Many scholars have therefore tried to find the ways and means of improving students’ achievements in technical education in junior secondary school examination. Again, there has been a general perception of technical education in junior secondary school by an average Nigerian student, that it is a course that is dominated with practical and is majorly meant for students that are intellectually incapacitated (Adah, 2011). The way and manner students perceived the course depend on the kind of teaching method that is adopted by teachers both in the classroom and on the field during teaching and learning process.

At any level of formal education, teaching is often associated with learning and there is no successful teaching without application of one method or the other.
