They were selected using Taro’s formula, questionnaire as well were used in collecting data for the study.  In order to guide the study, five research questions were formulated and two hypotheses were used to carry out the research. The data were analysed using distribution frequency percentage table while the hypotheses was tested using chi- square method. The study finds out some of the possible causes of sexually transmitted diseases, the physical consequences of sexually transmitted diseases and the possible solutions to solve the problem of sexually transmitted diseases, the study recommends that sex education should be taught in schools so as to create awareness or make people know the negative effect of sexually transmitted disease on people.
