PREFACE
The world they say is a global village. The reason for this assertion can be remotely and immediately traced to the perennial discussion of globalisation and of course internationalisation. These concepts entail oneness and uniformity in the dealing of societal, political and economic issues. Critically speaking, no nation can fare well without a co-interaction with other nations. This seems to make globalisation and internationalisation inevitable. It is against this backdrop that this research work is hinged.

The first chapter introduces and explains some basic concepts. The second critically analyses the major issues at stake and goes ahead to outline different laws and policies vis a vis the ones in Nigeria with a similar colouration. The third chapter tries to evaluate the consequences of the influence of globalisation and internationalisation on the policies of national governments. The fourth chapter concludes the work as well as proffer recommendations.
