The menace of soil erosion to any settlement is a threat not only to the structures (environment) but also to human life. Soil erosion in Angwa community is a major environmental problem ravaging the community. The purpose of this study hence, is to appraise the impact of soil erosion to the community and real estate development in the community so as to suggest workable soil erosion control measures. Relevant data collected from governmental department that is from State and Local government, Questionnaire were administered to 330 respondent through random sampling and sight inspection was adopted to observe area of serious erosion. Tabulation and percentage were used to analyze and interpret data collection. Based on the analysis of the data collected, findings shows that, soil erosion is the most pronounced environmental hazard in Angwa community, caused by rainfall, soil exposure and lack drainage facilities among others. This affects the roads, buildings, agricultural activities, and the entire environment. To curb this menace of soil erosion, a lot has to be done by ways of constructing drainage system, adopting better farming practice, planting of tress/wards and a combined effort of both the government and the community.
