COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT AND THE STUDENTS’ PERFORMANCE AMONG THE FOURTH YEAR BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN OFFICE ADMINISTRATION OF LAGUNA

ABSTRACT

The study was focused on Communication Equipment and the Student’s Performance Among Fourth Year Students of the Bachelor of Science in Office Administration of Laguna State Polytechnic University San Pablo City Campus to provide and gather as much informative evaluation descriptive method was used. This method includes using questionnaires.

Specially sought to answer the following question: what is the profile of the respondents regarding age, gender and civil status of 4th year BSOA students; what are the communication equipment affecting the performance of students as to E-mail, Internet, Multimedia, Projector, Radio, and Telephone/Mobile Phone; does the communication equipment affect the performance of students in terms of Knowledge, Communication Skills, and Interpersonal Relationship; Is there a significant relationship between the communication equipment and the performance of the students?

A questionnaire used as the main sections: The first part of the questionnaire is the profile of the respondents which includes the age of the respondents, gender, and the civil status and the last part of the questionnaire includes Knowledge, Communication Skills and Interpersonal Relationship.

This study made use of simple mean or average to selecting some of the elements in a population where may draw conclusion about the entire populations. The acceptability of the research is determined by computing the mean of each sensory characteristic which is carefully evaluated by the respondents.
