There have been a number of uprising in the Nigeria society o
f resent. The Northeastern states have received a number of these upraising. For example when the Boko Haram insurgency started in the North Eastern parts of Nigeria some years ago, majority of Nigerians felt it will come and go like other conflict challenges the country has had in the past. Though there are a number of different conflicts plaguing the North Eastern part of Nigeria, the Boko Haran insurgence has remain the major concern. What Governmental structure is on ground to rehabilitate, enhance or restore the social function of those affected? What has these structure done in the rehabilitation, reconciliation and reintegration of those affected individuals and communities and what could be done to make life more meaningful to those affected looking from a Social Work perspective is the discuss of this paper.
