Augustine Agugua’s article titled “Democratization and Citizens’ Sense of Security in Nigeria” examines varying issues on the sense of security among Nigerians since the beginning of the Fourth Republic in 1999. Essentially, this review aims at discussing major themes and subtopics as simplified by Agugua in his article. In the article, Agugua has brilliantly divided the major issues in his article into different headings, and this gives its readers a great sense of clarity.
