Abstract:

Unemployment has adverse effects on the youth and women of a nation. unemployed youth form a majority of the working poor and low labor market flexibility problem specifically for the youth because they are new entrants and young workers market. The lack of work experience, seniority, lobby and networks makes it challenging them to access and secure highly rewarding jobs. Thus to enter the labor market, leavers often have to accept contracts involving various forms of labor market Secondly, employers choose to offer new labor entrants temporary positions of all to observe their work potential since dismissing employees with permanent contracts is usually costly. The less educated youth leave school early and start working this category of youth are vulnerable to low rewarding jobs undermining prospects their employability. Therefore, this study seeks to reveal the causes and factors unemployment in the country.
