The researcher concluded the research by writing a comprehensive report on the effects of orphanhood on the academic performance of secondary school students and gave recommendations as to how the problems can be alleviated. The researcher recommended the government make early childhood education free so that all young children get the opportunity to go to Early childhood Development Centres. The parents should be taught the importance of taking their children to early childhood education centres, and these centres should be provided with enough learning and teaching materials
