There are different legal defmitions of environment some of which are too narrow and provide a non exhaustive list of reasons that should be included in these definitions as mentioned below. Environment is a natural condition for example air, land and water in which people, animals and plants live 1 . It can also be defined as physical factors surrounding a human being including land, water and atmosphere sound2 . The right to a clean and healthy environment3 would therefore almost encompass everything such as provision of clean water ,protection from diseases that result from poor sanitation, poor environment condition for example cholera and malaria.
