Human security is an outgrowth  the fundamental rights of the human. 

Security hitherto to the founding of human security was state centric, it has defined on the premise of the Westphalian state system.

However, given the occurrence of wars that have left individuals as victims and the use of state power oppress civil liberties the need arose for the protection of humans and the U.S along with the U.N championed this course and birthed “human security” as an adjunct of security.
