ABSTRACT

~his study is analysis of the women empowerment through politics n Uganda. It is meant to establish whether the legal framework hat has been put in place for ensuring women empowerment has ·esulted into their empowerment.

nen. However, it has been found that women have not, as it ought

o have been, benefited from being invited in politics. This has been lue to mainly lack of political will and the fact that Uganda is a Jatriarchal society. Therefore, the responsibility bodies are duty Jound to ensure the proper implementation of politics, orders ~nsure that women are empowered for gender equity.
