Financial Accounting Information And Management Decision Making: A Case Study Of Nilecom Limited

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to explain and clarify the importance of using financial accounting

information in decision making process, to meet the requested administrative needs to

rationalize the administrative decisions of the company.

The researcher in collecting data depended on the primary sources and secondary

sources, to achieve the goals of the study and in answering its questions. Through this

approach she obtained the secondary data which formed the theoretical frame for the

study. Meanwhile the practical frame depended on an interview and a questionnaire

which were designed for the subject goal.

The study came out with results and recommendations, to explain the importance of

using accounting information in decision making process in the company, and the most

important points, are:

1. There is a positive relationship between the extent of using accounting information in

decision-making and taken decision, if the accounting information is correct the decision

taken is correct.

2. Errors found in the information leads to errors in the decision to the detriment the

interests of the company.

3. Management knows the role of accounting information in the rationalization of the

decision making. And the recommendations: Administration must involve all the

departments in the decision-making process.Joint employees who specialize in preparing financial reporting and accounting information in training courses to acquire skills and practical experience and knowledge of accounting information
