ABSTRACT
The concept of labour relations is the same as industrial relation. This concept evolves from historical circumstances that accompanies the industrial revolution in Britain in the 18th and 19th centuries. In this study, we shall focus our attention on the relationship which exists between labour relations and productivity. The main aim of this project is to examine critically the effect of Labour Relation and Productivity in Mopa Muro Local Government of Kogi State; generally speaking, labour and productivity are closely related and cannot be discussed separately. This is because what affect the efficiency of one affects the other. Take for instance a highly rated labour will equally produce high quality goods and services. Labour can be defined as any human efforts of body and mind which is directed towards achieving a goal. It could be manual or mental skilled and unskilled. Productivity in other hand can be defined in many ways. It can be described as a measure of how well the resource available is brought together. Lastly, emphasis will be laid on the case study of Mopa-Muro Local Government. The findings will be revealed in the literature review while the method adopted is retrieving information required, management staff guide and questionnaire. After all recommendation will be to enhance the labour relations and productivity in non-business organization.
