ABSTRACT
The aim of the study is conduct proximate and phytochemical screening of three different varieties of rice bran (Jamila, Gouria 1 and Faro 63 best on the experiment on the rice bran samples of phytochemical screening alkaloid steorids, saponins, flavonoid are found to be present in all the samples while tannis were absent in Gouria 1. Proximate analysis shows significant difference between the three samples. Literature review reveals the importance of the bioactive components in the rice bran, which uncover the reason to put it in to usage industrially.
