This study draw attention to the social in literature, interpretation and understanding of symbolic and deep meanings that are inherent in the works of modern novelists and dramatists. With a closer look at alienation and concept of absurdism, we are acquainted with the idea that modern literature is deeper than it appears on the surface, unless we look beyond the lid, we may not be able to interpret the messages.
