The Consequences Of Classroom Management Tow Ards The Academic Performance Of Pupils In Kandara Division, Murang' A South District, Kenya

ABSTRACT

This study was about the consequences of classroom management towards academic

perfiJrmance ofpupils in Kandara division, Murang 'a South district, Kenya. The purpose of

the study was to investigate the effect ()f classroom management towards academic

performance of pupils in Kandara division, lvfurang 'a South district. All relevant sources to

this particular study were used in the review ()[related literature.

The research employed a descriptive survey and questionnaires were in this case employed

in the co/lee/ion ()f data fi'om the respondents qfier ·which such data was analyzed and

presented in percentages andfi'equency distribution tables.

The findings of the study indicated that the way ()f conduct of teachers, availability ()f

learning aids and the motivation which teachers do get qffected the academic pe1jormance of learners. It was recommended that Head teachers and district education officers should Endeavour to motivate teachers so that they can prepare materials for better standards of schools
