ABSTRACT
The evolution of the internet had great impact on the world. it was through the instrumentally of the internet and other advancement in information and communication technology (ICT),that the world has been reduced to global village. Consequently, everything in the world has been greatly affected the media not being a
n exception, but more than any other field of human endeavor, the impact of the internet has felt more on the mass media. Mass media existed specifically to inform, educate and entertain. Because the print media (newspaper) journalist in particular was given intellectual discourse there seems a synergy between the newspaper journalists. Therefore this research work attempted an examination of the effect of the internet on Nigerian journalist. And the finding was that the internet has seemingly had some influence on journalists.
