ABSTRACT
This study was design to look into the effectiveness of film in rural areas, the researcher focus on a typical rural area, Isu local Government Area in Imo state, communication and communication media are important constituent of development process, but more important for those whose immediate concern is the promoting and acerbating change and development in the society. It is factual that the mass media could provide essential support to the development programmes a vital two way link between the sources of development information and innovations, the target population specifically, may serve as a mass raising development consciousness of disseminating knowledge and skills which facilitated development action. The data for this research work would be gathered from face to face, interview, mail questionnaire, literature review, internet, textbook and references, the answers which the respondents shall supply would be presented and findly, the conclusion will be drawn from finding and recommendation will be given.
