Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to look at a relatively new International Academies (hereafter Bridge), and the role it plays education as a tool for assisting Kenya reach its Vision 2030 development Bridge is a for-profit company dedicated to providing low-cost education million children around the globe, beginning with Kenya. Bridge differs educational players because it uses a cookie cutter model most often consumer products like the fast food chain McDonalds. However, educational approach has not been applied in this way to mass education poorest people around the globe. It is worth exploring the inherent the potential negative consequences this venture will provide. This the Bridge model in depth and compares its approach to the Kenyan system. It also looks at the role and influences other educational DFID and the non-profit organization Dignitas Project) have had on improving education in Kenya.
